Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy Birthday to Dad. He would have been 78 years old today. It is hard to believe he has been gone for almost 9 years. A few of us were able to do some family sealings in the Mount Oquirrh temple Thursday night. This is our way of honoring and remembering him. It was a wonderful evening. Happy Birthday Dad- We love you!!

Kayli Wakefield's Missionary Farewell

Kayli Wakefield leaves Sept. 15 to serve an LDS mission to Berlin, Germany. Her "missionary-themed" Sacrament Meeting was Sun. August 29th in Pleasant Grove. Just thought I would throw in a couple photos from the event. Kayli did a great job and we know she will be a fantastic missonary!

Kristyn Lambrecht's wedding 5-14-10

Mom, Auntie Arlene, and Amy went to the wedding of Kristyn Lambrecht and Paul Porter on May 14, 2010. These are the pictures that I took before my camera battery went out! (Kristyn is Jean Carpenter Lambrecht's daughter, who is the daughter of Auntie Jay, who is Mom's sister. Got that?)

Thomas cousins Baptisms for the dead

Those who have already visited this blog entry didn't get to see the rest of the entourage. Kevin and Amy King were also there with 3 of their daughters. They had to leave before the other picture was taken.





Laurie put together a trip for any interested Thomas cousins and their parents to go to the Jordan River temple this Saturday. She had quite a few family names to do. It was so great to be united in this family event of linking generations. Then Grandma treated everyone to dinner afterward in the temple cafeteria.

It was a wonderful event which we hope to make at least a yearly tradition! Thanks Laurie!!
