Is this a great looking bunch or what?

So, can you believe all 10 brothers and sisters and Mom were at Andrew Smart's missionary farewell at the same time?! (It makes me miss Dad!) We had to document it. This doesn't happen very often. A great looking bunch of people, I might add!

Here is Mom with her three handsome sons.

I thought I would also post this picture of Ed and Janelle Martin and their children at the Reno Temple. They were sealed there that day. This picture isn't the greatest. Kayden isn't even looking so if someone has a better one, send it to me and I will post it.

Happy Birthday MOM!

Everyone had a terrific time when we got together Sat. night to celebrate our dear mom's birthday. 78 years young!

Mom's Sayings

In honor of Mom on her 78th birthday, here are some sayings of Mom that Karen, Jenni, Viv, and I wrote down a long time ago and I thought I would put them on the blog. Let me know if you think of others!

"Oh my poor darlin'"

"a little drink of juice"

"BACK, BACK!" (referring to your hair)

"a little bite to eat"

"are you regular?"

"Do we need to have a prayer?"

"Let's start over."

"My mother used to say, if you can say something nice, don't say it at all."

"Rise and shine, kids."

"This is the day the Lord hath made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it."

"Save some for Dad's lunch."

Things that are unique to Mom:
tapping drink and staring out
jumping up and saying, "Let's go!"

Sewing costumes on the way to CA and weddings.
candy machine with her thumbs
Kitty cat with her hands
cutting her Relief Society treat into 10 pieces
Constitution Day birthday

recycled b-day signs and wrapping paper
programs and singing lessons

Here is Shelli with Jed at his first Thomas reunion. There is an even cuter photo of this family on their family blog.

A beautiful sunset

Another shot of the beautiful sunset.

We shared the pavilion with these swallows. We called them the "Big Mouth Singers" because they reminded us of a toy from our childhood.

Enjoying the fruits of Joe's breakfast labors.

Thomas cousins

Abby dreaming of the day she can drive this all by herself.

Allie enjoys a popsicle.

Amy proudly wearing her Thomas family tee shirt.

And, of course, what is a Thomas reunion without a rainbow!!

Here is a shot of the rainbow from the campsite.

And another year sets on the family reunion. Thanks to everyone for all your efforts and we'll see you again next year!
